Community

BDACI supports individuals to have valued roles within their own communities. This means we facilitate conversations with the individuals and the people in their life to ensure that people become well connected. This could include memberships, study groups, volunteer work, paid work, hobby groups, church involvement and many other elements of personhood. We strive to support an individual to develop relationships that will be life lasting and root a person into a community. We base these community roots around what is important and of interest to the individual.

We support people to be a valued member of the community. This means that we help people think about what roles they play in the community and help them to best be supported in those roles.

We believe that people should be a valued member of their community. We believe that people being known in their community for their attributes they have to offer is an important part of being valued.
